7.16.7 SFI-functions
To be able to carry out the following functions, you should call up the SFI as described in
Section 7.16.3.
7.16.7.1 SFI-info
The SFI-Info enables you to display brief information on the marked channel or on the mar-
ked broadcast. Available SFI Info is identified by next to the appropriate programme.
> Select the required programme with the arrow keys or function keys.
> Press the SFI, to display the information.It is possible to move or scroll through longer
information texts with the arrow keys.
> Pressing the Return key returns you to the previous table.
7.16.7.2 SFI timer programming
You can easily programme timer events by means of the electronic programme guide SFI.
> Select the required programme with the arrow keys or function keys.
> Press the red function key Timer, to open a selection window.
> Select the with the up/down arrow keys the required Timer type (See Section
7.17).
> Confirm with OK. For control purposes, the menu Manage timer, which includes
the data of the selected programme, is displayed. If necessary, you can carry out
changes here (see 7.17).
> Pressing the Return key returns you to the previous table. The appropriate line is
marked. Your device is now turned on according to time type at the beginning of the
selected programme. If the set was activated by the timer of the video recorder, this is
shown in a message“VCR Timer” in the display. Most of the remote control functions
are deactivated, to prevent accidental aborting of the recording. The active timer is
indicated by the flashing of the two dots in the time display or LED in the standby
mode.
Deleting the SFI timer event
> If you would like to cancel a timer event, which was channeld with the help of SFI,
you should proceds as described above in order to mark the relevant channel
