(18) Depress the latch and remove the two lap straps and crotch strap from the related spools (790) on
the bucket assembly (745).
(19) Depress the latch and remove each of the inertia reels from the related spool (875) on the backrest
assembly (350).
C. Remove the armrests.
(Ref. IPL Fig 1, Sheet 5 and 7)
(1) Remove the nut (595), bolt (590) and armrest screw (585) from each armrest (580).
(2) Remove the armrest (580) from each spigot (625).
(3) Remove and discard the two O-rings (600) from each spigot (625).
(4) Remove the three nuts (620) and cover (615) from the armrest (580).
(5) Remove the three nuts (610) and cover (605) from the armrest (580).
D. Remove the plungers, cables and levers.
(Ref. IPL Fig 1, Sheets 5, 6, 8, 9, 11 and 12)
(1) Fore/aft cable and lever:
(a) Remove the ball end of the fore/aft cable assembly (420) from the fore/aft lock lever (530) on the
middle beam (565).
(b) Remove the nut (425) and fore/aft cable assembly (420) from the middle beam (565) on the bot-
tom of the seat structure.
(c) Remove the polythene cover plug (400) and the ball end of the cable assembly (420) from the
fore/aft lever (355).
(d) Remove the split pin (370), clevis pin (365), spacer (360) and fore/aft lever assembly (355) from
the LH lever bracket (405) on the bottom of the bucket assembly.
(2) Vertical plungers, cable and lever:
(a) Remove the polythene cover plug (400) from the raise/lower lever (380).
(b) Remove the ball end of the vertical cable assembly (435) from the raise/lower lever (380).
(c) Remove the nut (440) and vertical cable assembly (435) from the crossbeam (part of the bucket
assembly (745)).
(d) Remove the split pin (520) from the plunger ends of the vertical cable assembly (435).
NOTE
The bucket assembly must be held in position while the lock pin housing assemblies
are removed. This will stop the bucket assembly from moving UP.
(e) Hold the bucket assembly in position to stop it moving UP under gas strut pressure, then remove
the vertical lock pin housing (515), vertical lock plunger (505) and spring (510) from each of the
lower frames (810) and (815).
