(3) Position the remaining two claw assemblies (465).
(4) Carefully turn the carriage floor slightly, make sure the feet (220) (285) are correctly engage with the
top floor fittings (255) (320).
(5) Secure each of the four claw assemblies (465) to the seat structure with two nuts (470).
D. Install the armrest spigots.
(Ref. IPL Fig 1, Sheet 7)
WARNING
WHEN YOU USE GREASE ASG 64, OBEY THE MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEET
AND APPLY AS SHOWN IN THE INSTRUCTIONS OF THE MANUFACTURER.
(1) Apply a thin coat of ASG 64 to the two springs (635).
(2) Install a spring (635) and detent plunger (630) into each of the two armrest spigots (625).
(3) Install each of the armrest spigots (625) into the crossbeam (715) from inboard.
(4) Move each of the spigots (625) fully outboard.
(5) Install a baulking tube (640) into each side of the crossbeam (715) from outboard, then push the
spigots (625) inboard until each of the detent plungers (630) engage the related locking hole in the
crossbeam (715).
E. Assemble the bucket assembly.
(Ref. IPL Fig 1, Sheets 6, 7, 8, 9)
(1) Install each of the two gas strut anchor pins (450) to the bucket assembly (745) with a nut (455).
(2) Install each of the two lever brackets (405) to the bucket assembly (745) with two bolts (415) and nuts
(410).
(3) Install a spool (790) on each side of the bucket assembly (745) with a bolt (795) and nut (805).
(4) Install a spool (790) on the front of the bucket assembly (745) with a bolt (800) and nut (805).
(5) Install the bottom two guide bearings (755) in each side of the bucket assembly (745).
(6) Secure the two bottom guide bearings (755) with a clevis pin (760) and split pin (765).
(7) Install each of the two spools (875) on the backrest assembly (350) with a bolt (880) and nut (885).
(8) Install the backrest assembly (350) on the bucket assembly (745) with the two backrest bearings
(770), two bolts (775) and two nuts (780).
(9) Install the bucket crossbeam (715):
- Install each of the two recline gas struts (685) to the bucket crossbeam (715) with a clevis pin (705)
and split pin (710).
- Install the bottom end of each recline gas strut (685) to the related side of the bucket assembly
(745) with a clevis pin (695), spacer (690) and split pin (700).
- Install the two recline plunger assemblies in the sides of the backrest assembly (350), refer to step
H., para (2).
