(f) Remove the raise/lower lever assembly (380), refer to para (3), step (g) below.
(3) Recline plungers, cable and lever:
(a) Remove the polythene cover plug (400) from the recline lever (375).
(b) Remove the ball end of the recline cable assembly (430) from the recline lever (375).
(c) Remove the nut (440) and recline cable assembly (430) from the crossbeam (part of the bucket
assembly (745)).
NOTE
A flange on the bucket crossbeam (745) keeps the recline plunger assemblies secured
to the backrest assembly (350). To remove the recline plunger assemblies, the
crossbeam must be removed.
(d) Remove the bucket crossbeam (745), refer to para G., step (1).
(e) Remove the split pin (725) from each end of the recline cable assembly (430).
(f) Remove the seat recline plunger (720), spring (730), special washer (740) and plunger cable
body (735) from each side of the backrest assembly (350).
(g) Remove the split pin (395), clevis pin (390), spacer (385), recline lever assembly (375) and raise/
lower lever assembly (380).
(4) Rotate plunger, cable and lever:
(a) Remove the two nuts (660), spacers (655) and bolts (650) to release the rotate lever (645) from
the RH side of the bucket assembly (745).
(b) Release the knurled nut and remove the ball end of the rotate cable assembly (665) from the
rotate lever (645).
(c) Release the grommet (460) from the crossbeam on the bottom of the bucket assembly (745).
(d) Remove the grommet (460) over the free end of the rotate cable assembly (665).
(e) Remove the free end of the rotate cable assembly (665) from the crossbeam on the bottom of
the bucket assembly (745).
(f) Release the knurled nut on the rotate lock pin housing (495) and disconnect the ball end of the
rotate cable assembly (665) from the locking plunger (500).
(g) Remove the lock pin housing (495), spring (490) and locking plunger (500) from the rear cross-
beam (825).
E. Remove the height control gas struts.

WARNING
SUPPORT THE BUCKET ASSEMBLY BEFORE YOU REMOVE PARTS. IF THE
BUCKET ASSEMBLY IS NOT SUPPORTED IT CAN DROP. IF THE BUCKET
ASSEMBLY DROPS IT CAN CAUSE AN INJURY.
(1) Support the bucket assembly before removing parts.
