1.4) Description of function
TNI soft Flow 50isasystemmanagingtherapywithnasalinsuation:Aconstant,humidiedand
warmow,whichmayalsocombinedwithoxygen,isappliedinthenoseviaapplicator(thinnasal
cannulawhichactasaninterfacetothepatient).Technically,it
consistsofablowerunitandahumidierunit.
Theblowerabsorbsair,compressesitandforwardsitviahumidier.Here,theairowsover
heatedwater.Theheatedandhumidiedwaterthusobtainedachievesdewpointsfrom30-37°TP
(canbesetindividually).
2humidicationmodelsareprovided;bothcanbeusedindividually,“Humidier homecare
complete with manual lling”and“Humidier clinic complete with humidication chamber with
reservoir and auto ll function”. Theheatedandhumidiedair/air-oxygenmixtureowsinthe
noseandupperrespiratorytractviaapplicator.
Theairoutowattheapplicatorsimulatesnasalcannulausedinoxygentherapy.
Particularemphasiswasgiventoahighwearingcomfortandlownoiselevel.
