A value with a light blue “4” indicates that the “Mean
difference” within a diameter of 4 mm is displayed.
“4” changes to “F” when clicked and the “Mean difference”
for the entire map appears.
“Mean difference” is useful for evaluating the reliability of
continuous measurements or calculating changes in the
corneal shape after surgery to correct refractive power of
the cornea.
● ∆Apex
The difference in Apex between the two maps displayed
on the screen is shown. The unit is μm. This is displayed
when the map type is Pachymetry.
● ∆Thinnest
The difference in Thinnest between the two maps
displayed on the screen is shown. The unit is μm. This is
displayed when the map type is Pachymetry.
When the two maps are merged topo maps, click the
“viewer change” button (10) to switch the map type
between the merged topo map and ring topo map.
