5.1.1 Setting the MCM ID
It is necessary to set the identity of each MCM to the ECU as either ‘MCM-1’, ‘MCM-2’, ‘MCM-3’ or ‘MCM-4’. The wires
with ring terminals ‘I’, ‘J’ and ‘K’ must be connected to the MCM 0V stud in one of the following combinations.

For MCM-1, MCM-2 and MCM-3, it is recommended to apply heatshrink over the unused terminal(s), and cable-tie back
to the harness.
NOTE: The unused terminals must not be left loose or bare in such a way such that they could accidentally make contact with the
chassis.

NOTE: MCM’s have CAN Bus termination set by default via the Yellow/Black link wire (pin 1F to pin 2D on the Cinch connector).
