DPF)areidentiedandmatchedintheengineECUprogram.Ifengineelectrical
componentsarereplacedontheengine,theYanmarelectronictoolmustbeused
toupdatetheengineECUprogramwhichwillensurecorrectengineoperation.
IftheengineECUidentiesthatanengineproblemexists,theenginespeed
maybereducedortheenginemightstop.TheYanmarelectronictooland
troubleshootingmanualshouldbeusedtoprovideassistanceinidentifyingthe
causeoftheproblemandtherepairsthatarenecessary.ContactyourT oro
distributorforassistanceinYanmarenginetroubleshooting.
IMPORTANT
DonotplugorunplugtheengineECUforminimumperiodofthirty
(30)secondsafterthemachinekeyswitchisturnedOFF .TheECU
mayremainenergizedeventhoughtheignitionswitchisOFF .
IftheengineECUistobedisconnectedforanyreason,makesurethatthe
ignitionswitchisintheOFFpositionwiththekeyremovedbeforedisconnecting
theengineECU.Also,topreventpossibleECUdamagewhenweldingonthe
machine,disconnectandremovetheengineECUfromthemachinebefore
welding.
