1.Removebladespindlefromcuttingdeck(seeBladeSpindleAssembly(page
9–4)).
2.Loosenandremovespindlenutfromtopofspindleshaft.
3.Removethespindleshaftfromthespindlehousingwhichmayrequirethe
useofanarborpress.Thespindleshaftspacershouldremainonthespindle
shaftastheshaftisbeingremoved.
4.Carefullyremoveoilsealsfromspindlehousingnotingdirectionofseallips.
5.Allowthebearingcones,innerbearingspacerandspacerringtodropoutof
thespindlehousing.
6.Usinganarborpress,removebothofthebearingcupsandtheouterbearing
spacerfromthehousing.
7.Thelargesnapringcanremaininsidethespindlehousing.Removalofthis
snapringisverydifcult.
