forbi-directionalltrationwhichpreventslteredunwanted
materialfromenteringintothecircuitregardlessofow
direction.
Ifacomponentfailureoccursintheclosedlooptraction
circuit,contaminationfromthedamagedpartwillremainin
thecircuituntilyouremoveit.Installahighowhydraulic-uid
lterintothecircuitwhenyouconnectthehydraulictest
gaugesinordertotestthetractioncircuitcomponentsorafter
youreplaceafailedtractioncircuitcomponent(e.g.,piston
pumporwheelmotor).Thislterremovescontaminationfrom
thehydraulicuidinthetractioncircuit,therebypreventing
additionalcomponentdamage.
