troubleshootingmachineoperationissues(refertoDiagnosticsScreen(page
7–19)).Thediagnosticsscreen(Figure214)listsavarietyofmachineoperations
andthecurrentstateoftheinputs,qualiers,andoutputsrequiredtoallow
theoperationtoproceed.Theelectricalcomponentsinvolvedinthefollowing
machineoperationscanbeevaluatedusingthediagnosticsscreenpriorto
testingeachcomponentindividually:
•LiftThecomponentsnecessarytoraisethecuttingunits.
•LowerThecomponentsnecessarytolowerthecuttingunits.
•PTOThecomponentsnecessarytoengagethecuttingunits.
•EngineThecomponentsnecessarytostartandruntheengine.
•BacklapThecomponentsnecessarytoengagethecuttingunitsinthe
reversedirectionforbacklapping.
Ifamachineoperationismalfunctioning,thefollowingprocedurecanhelp
identifythecauseofthecomponentorcircuitwiringcausingthemalfunction.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthecuttingunits,settheparking
brake,andshutofftheengine.
2.SetthekeyswitchtotheONpositionandnavigatetotheInfoCenter
DiagnosticScreen.
