Theoptionalgroomingbrushattachestothegroomerinplaceofthegroomer
reel.Thegroomingbrushisremovedandinstalledfromthegroomerinthesame
mannerasthegroomerreel;refertoGroomerReel(page11–13).
Thegroomingbrushelementorshaftcanbeservicedseparately(Figure403).
Toremovethespiralgroomingbrushfromtheshaft,removethelocknutand
J-boltfrombothendsofthebrushassemblyandslidethebrushfromtheshaft.
Whenassemblingthespiralbrushtotheshaft,ensurethattheJ-boltsare
installedwiththethreadedportionontheoutsideofthebrushandtightenthe
locknutsto2.3to2.8N∙m(20to25in-lb).
