Thebacklapswitchesareattachedtothehydraulicmowcontrolmanifoldunder
theoperatorseatontherightsideofthemachine.
Note:Beforeremovingabacklapswitch,theswitchanditscircuitwiringcanbe
testedasaToroElectronicController(TEC)inputwiththeInfoCenterdisplay;
refertoUsingtheInfoCenterDisplayforTroubleshooting(page7–28).
RemovingtheBacklapSwitches
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthecuttingunits,shutoffthe
engine,settheparkingbrake,andremovethekeyfromthekeyswitch.
2.Raiseandsupporttheoperatorseattogetaccesstothehydraulicmow
controlmanifold.
3.Locatethebacklapswitchonthemowcontrolmanifoldthatyoureplace
(Figure286).
4.Disconnectthewireharnesselectricalconnectorfromthebacklapswitch
thatistoberemoved.
5.Loosenandremovethebacklapswitchfromthehydraulicmanifold.Remove
anddiscardtheO-ringfromtheswitch.
