TheengineusedonyourReelmasterisaKubotaWGSeriesgasolineengine.
Enginefeaturesincludeanelectroniccontrolunit(ECU)thatcontrolsacommon
railfuelinjectionsystemwithdirectinjection,electronicthrottlebody(ETB),
anelectronicgovernorandacatalyticmuferexhaustsystemwith2oxygen
sensors.NumerousenginesensorsareusedtoallowtheengineECUtomonitor
andcontrolengineoperationforoptimumengineperformance.
Theengineelectricalcomponents(e.g.,ECU,O2sensor,throttlecontrol,power
relay,andETVrelay)areidentiedandmatchedintheengineECUprogram.If
engineelectricalcomponentsarereplacedontheengine,theKubotaelectronic
toolmustbeusedbyyourTorodistributortoupdatetheECUprogramwhich
willensurecorrectengineoperation.
Duringmachineoperation,ifanenginefaultoccurs,themachineInfoCenter
displaycanbeusedtoidentifythefault.Also,theKubotagasolineengine
servicetoolcanbeusedbyyourT orodistributortoconrmthereal-timeengine
runningstatusandtooffertimelytechnicalservices.
EngineElectronicControlUnit(ECU)
TheKubotagasolineenginethatpowersyourReelmasterusesanelectronic
controlunit(ECU)forenginemanagement.TheengineECUalsocommunicates
withthemachineT oroElectronicController(TEC)andtheoperatorInfoCenter
displayonthemachinethroughthemachineCAN-bussystem.Allwireharness
electricalconnectorsshouldbepluggedintotheengineECUbeforethemachine
keyswitchismovedfromtheOFFpositiontoeithertheON/RUNorSTARTposition.
