Theheadlightswitchislocatedontheoperatorsideofthecontrolarm(Figure
245).Thisrockerswitchallowstheheadlightstobeturnedonandoff.
TestingtheHeadlightSwitch
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthecuttingunits,settheparking
brake,andshutofftheengine.
2.Removetheleftcontrolarmcovertogetaccesstotheheadlightswitch;refer
toDisassemblingtheControlArm(page8–23).
3.EnsurethatthekeyswitchisintheOFFposition.Disconnectthewireharness
electricalconnectorfromtheheadlightswitch.

multimeter(ohmssetting),testtheswitchfunctionstodetermineifcontinuity
existsbetweenthevariousterminalsforeachswitchposition.Checkthe
continuitybetweentheswitchterminals.
