RemovingtheHood
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthecuttingunits,shutoffthe
engine,andremovethekeyfromthekeyswitch.
2.Unlatchthehood.
3.Removethebowtiepins(item9inFigure320)andclevispinstoallowhood
removal.
4.Liftthehoodassemblyfromthemachine.
5.Removethehoodcomponentsasnecessary(Figure320).
6.Checktheconditionofallsealsonthehood.Replacethesealsthatare
damagedormissing.
Note:ThehoodusedonReelmaster5610machinespoweredbyaKubota
turbochargeddieselenginehasadditionalshieldsontheundersideofthe
hood.Checktheshieldsandreplaceifthereisanydamage.
InstallingtheHood
1.Installallthehoodcomponentsthatwereremoved(Figure320).
2.Positionthehoodassemblytothemachine.
3.Installtheclevispins(item8inFigure320)andsecurewiththebowtiepins.
4.Latchthehood.
