Thepurposeofthesafety-interlocksystemisto
preventtheenginefromcrankingorstarting,unless
youpressthebrakepedalandhavethehydraulic-lift
leverintheNEUTRALposition.
CAUTION
Ifthesafety-interlockswitchesare
disconnectedordamaged,themachinecould
operateunexpectedly,causingpersonal
injury.
•Donottamperwiththesafety-interlock
switches.
•Checktheoperationofthesafety-interlock
switchesdaily,andreplaceanydamaged
switchesbeforeoperatingthemachine.

system.
VerifyingtheHydraulic-LiftLever
Safety-InterlockSwitch
1.Sitontheoperator’sseatandengagethe
parkingbrake.
2.MovetheshiftlevertotheNEUTRALposition
andensurethatthehydraulic-liftleverisinthe
centerposition.
3.Ifyouhaveanon-TCmodelwiththeHigh-Flow
HydraulicKit(optional)orTCmodel,setthe
high-owhydraulicswitchtotheOFFposition.
4.Pressthebrakepedal.
5.Movethehydraulic-liftleverforwardandrotate
thekeyswitchclockwisetotheSTARTposition.
Note:Iftheenginecranksorstarts,thereis
amalfunctionintheinterlocksystemthatyou
mustrepairbeforeoperatingthemachine.

4.RotatethekeyswitchclockwisetotheSTART
position.
