sharpturnatahigherspeedandtheinside
rearwheelliftsofftheground,theremay
bealossofcontrol,whichcouldcausethe
machinetoskid.Usethedifferentiallock
onlyatslowerspeeds.
CAUTION
Turningwiththedifferentiallockoncanresult
inlossofmachinecontrol.Donotoperate
withdifferentiallockonwhenmakingsharp
turnsorathighspeeds.
Thedifferentiallockincreasesthetractionofthe
machinebylockingtherearwheelssothatawheel
doesnotspinout.Thiscanhelpwhenyouhave
heavyloadstohaul,onwetturforslipperyareas,
goinguphills,andonsandysurfaces.Itisimportant
torememberthatthisextratractionisonlyfor
temporary,limiteduse.Itsusedoesnotreplacethe
safeoperationalreadydiscussedconcerningsteep
hillsandheavyloads.
Thedifferentiallockcausestherearwheelstospin
atthesamespeed.Whenusingthedifferentiallock,
yourabilitytomakesharpturnsissomewhatrestricted
andmayscufftheturf.Usethedifferentiallockonly
whenneededandatslowerspeeds.
Note:Machinemotionplusaslightturnisrequiredto
engageordisengagedifferentiallock.

Thehydrauliccontrolsupplieshydraulicpowerfrom
themachinepumpwhenevertheengineruns.You
canusethepowerthroughthequickcouplersatthe
rearofthemachine.
WARNING
Hydraulicuidescapingunderpressurecan
havesufcientforcetopenetrateskinand
cancauseseriousinjury.
Usecarewhenconnectingordisconnecting
hydraulicquickcouplers.Shutoffthe
engine,engagetheparkingbrake,lowerthe
attachment,andplacetheremotehydraulic
valveintheoatdetentpositiontorelieve
thehydraulicpressurebeforeconnectingor
disconnectingthequickcouplers.
Important:Ifmultiplemachinesusethe
sameattachment,cross-contaminationofthe
transmissionuidmayoccur.Changethe
transmissionuidmorefrequently.
