Thispositionlowersthebed,rearhitchattachment,
orappliespressuretoquickcouplerB.Thisalso
allowshydraulicuidtoreturnfromquickcoupler
Atoowbackintothevalveandthenouttothe
reservoir.Thisisamomentaryposition,andwhen
youreleasethelever,itspring-returnstothe
center,OFFposition.Momentarilyholdingandthen
releasingthecontrolleverinthispositionprovides
hydraulic-uidowtoquickcouplerB,which
providespowerdownontherearhitch.Whenyou
releaseit,itholdsthedown-pressureonthehitch.
Important:Ifyouuseitwithahydraulic
cylinder,holdingthecontrolleverinthelower
positioncausesthehydraulic-uidowto
gooverareliefvalve,whichcandamagethe
hydraulicsystem.
•ONPosition
ThispositionissimilartotheLOWER(QUICK
COUPLERBPOSITION).Italsodirectshydraulicuid
toquickcouplerB,exceptthattheleverisheldin
thispositionbyadetentleverinthecontrolpanel.
Thisallowshydraulicuidtoowcontinuouslyto
equipmentthatuseahydraulicmotor.
Usethispositiononlyonattachmentswitha
hydraulicmotorattached.
Important:Ifyouuseitwithahydraulic
cylinderornoattachment,theONposition
causesthehydraulic-uidowtogoovera
reliefvalve,whichcandamagethehydraulic
system.Usethispositiononlymomentarilyor
withamotorattached.
Important:Checkthehydraulic-uidlevel
afterinstallationofanattachment.Checkthe
operationoftheattachmentbycyclingthe
attachmentseveraltimestopurgeairfrom
thesystem,thencheckhydraulic-uidlevel
again.Theattachmentcylinderslightlyaffects
theuidlevelinthetransaxle.Operatingthe
machinewithalowhydraulic-uidlevelcan
damagethepump,remotehydraulics,power
steering,andmachinetransaxle.
ConnectingtheQuickCouplers
Important:Cleandirtfromthequickcouplers
beforeconnectingthem.Dirtycouplerscan
introducecontaminationintothehydraulic
system.
1.Pullbackthelockingringonthecoupler.
2.Insertthehosenippleintothecoupleruntilit
snapsintoposition.
Note:Whenattachingremoteequipmenttothequick
couplers,determinewhichsiderequirespressure,
thenattachthathosetoquickcouplerB,whichhas
pressurewhenyoupushthecontrolleverforwardor
lockedintheONposition.
DisconnectingtheQuickCouplers
Note:Withboththemachineandattachmentshut
off,movetheliftleverbackandforthtoremovethe
systempressureandeasethedisconnectionofthe
quickcouplers.
1.Pullbackthelockingringonthecoupler.
2.Pullthehosermlyfromthecoupler.
Important:Cleanandinstallthedustplug
anddustcoverstothequickcouplerends
whennotinuse.
