Fillthebatterywherecleanwaterisalways
availableforushingtheskin.
Alwayskeepthebatterycleanandfullycharged.
Ifthebatteryterminalsarecorroded,cleanthem
withasolutionof4partswaterand1partbaking
soda.
Applyalightcoatingofgreasetothebattery
terminalstopreventcorrosion.
Maintainthebatteryelectrolytelevel.
Keepthetopofthebatterycleanbywashingit
periodicallywithabrushdippedinammoniaor
bicarbonateofsodasolution.Flushthetopsurface
withwateraftercleaning.Donotremovethell
capwhilecleaning.
Ensurethatthebatterycablesarekepttightonthe
terminalstoprovidegoodelectricalcontact.
Maintainthecellelectrolytelevelwithdistilledor
demineralizedwater.Donotllthecellsabovethe
bottomofthellringinsideeachcell.
Ifyoustorethemachineinalocationwhere
temperaturesareextremelyhigh,thebatteryruns
downmorerapidlythanifthemachineisstoredin
alocationwheretemperaturesarecool.
