LH & RH Motion Control Assembly Removal
1. Park the machine on a level surface and disengage the PT O. Stop the
engine, wait for all moving parts to stop and remove the key . Engage the
parking brake.
2. Disconnect the battery by removing the negative cable rst, then the positive
cable from the battery .
3. Remove the LH & RH pods. Refer to Left Hand Pod Removal ( page 6– 20 )
and Right Hand Pod Removal ( page 6– 22 ) .
4. Using a T40 torx driver , remove the 4 (5/16 inch) bolts, securing the LH &
RH pod tubes to the chassis.
5. Using a T40 torx driver , remove the 4 (5/16 inch) bolts, securing the LH & RH
mounting brackets to the chassis.
Note: For the LH side: Remove the pin, securing the parking brake linkage
to the handle. Disconnect the parking brake linkage from the parking brake
handle.
6. Disconnect the wire harness from the LH & RH neutral safety switches.
Remove the neutral safety switches.

7. Using a 1/2 inch socket, remove the (5/16 inch) lock nut and shoulder bolt
securing the LH & RH motion control linkages to the transaxle assembly .
