3.2 Tool Setting and Operation
The operating procedures for setting and referring to information using an Engineering
Tool are described.
AN712 module engineering covers the following:
(1) Registering AN712 modules in a station
(2) Setting various functions in AN712 modules and reading them from the modules
For Engineering Tool setting, either directly connect an RS-232C cable to the S3CPU or
connect it via Ethernet.
Note: In setting various function in AN712 modules or reading them from the modules,
direct connection of an RS-232C cable to the S3CPU is not possible. Connection
must be via Ethernet.
