Tips
• The optional external telephone is required.
• You can specify the remote FAX using only the external telephone.

When you hear the digital copier switch the phone
line, replace the handset of the External Telephone.

Press the key. (Select “1.TRANSMIT”.)
• For scanning on the glass, setting for the original size is
required here. (e-STUDIO16 only.

When you hear the answering tone output from the
External Telephone after the connection is made with
the remote FAX, press the
key.

Enter the remote FAX number using the keypad of
the External Telephone.

Pick up the handset of the External Telephone.

Set the scanning conditions. ( See pages 2-10 to
2-15.)

Place the original.
