1. RECIRCULATE (indic ator l ight is
on)—Rec irc ulates the air ins ide the v e-
hicl e.
2. FRESH (indi cator l ight is off) —Draws
outside air into the system.
RECIRCULATE mode or FRESH mode
may be automatic ally s witc hed to in ac cor-
dance wit h the temper ature set ting and
the inside temper ature.
If you want to c hange to RECIRCULATE,
press t he ai r intake selec tor butt on agai n.
“A/C” button
To tur n on the air condit ioning, press the
“A/C” button. The “ A/C” but ton indic ator
will come on. To t urn the air condi tioning
off, pres s the button again.
Pollen removal mode button
Push t he butt on to remove the airborne
pollen f rom t he cabin as s oon as poss ible.
An indicator wi ll come on.
The air intake mode will switch to RECIR-
CULATE mode. The air will f low t o the
upper par t of the body of the oc cupants
and pollen will be remov ed. Af ter about 3
minutes hav e elapsed, the operati on
stops , and the air condi tioning system au-
tomatically returns to the settings prior to
the button being pushed.
To st op the operat ion, do one of the fol-
lowing:
D Press t he pol len r emoval mode but ton
again.
D Press t he “AUTO” button.
D Press one of the ai r fl ow selec tor but-
tons or the wi ndshiel d ai r fl ow but ton.
When the ambi ent temperature is low, the
following may occur:
D Air int ake mode does not swit ch to
RECIRCULATE.
D The air condi tioni ng system oper ates
automatic ally.
D The operation is canc elled after 1 min-
ute.
In r ainy weather, the windows may fog up.
Press t he windshield air f low button.
