To change jumper settings, use tweezers or needle-nosed pliers and gently
rock the jumper back and forth as you lift.
Note: Do not grasp the shunts too firmly. If you grasp them too firmly,
you may crush the shunt or damage the modem.

Setting Jumpers for a Specific COM Port
You can put shunts on the COM port jumper block to configure the
desired COM port:
