Why is the humidity measurement wrong on my Vaisala Measuring Instruments?
    • W
      williamsdanielSep 9, 2025
If the humidity measurement seems incorrect on your Vaisala Measuring Instruments, take these steps: * Check for condensation on the probe and sensor. * Use the L command to check the currently applied calibration correction. * For HMP110, calibrate and adjust the probe. For HMP60, calibrate the probe and change the sensor if needed. * Ensure the temperature sensor legs aren't short-circuited. If the temperature sensor is damaged, contact Vaisala. Additionally, if the humidity sensor is wet, wait for it to dry, or carefully dry the sensors and filter with clean instrument air after removing the filter. If the humidity sensor is damaged or missing, replace it or contact Vaisala. Also, if the ambient temperature is too high, lower the temperature at the installation site.
