2.2 Hazard statements
Five types of notifications are used in the documentation.
DANGER:
Indicates an imminently hazardous situation that, if not avoided, results in death or very
serious injury.
WARNING:
Indicates a potentially hazardous situation that, if not avoided, could result in death or
serious injury.
CAUTION:
Indicates a potentially hazardous situation that, if not avoided, may result in minor injury.
IMPORTANT: Indicates special instructions or procedures which, if not strictly observed, could result in
damage to or destruction of the machine, process or surroundings.
NOTE: Indicates points of particular interest for a more ecient and convenient repair or operation.
