CAUTION:
The ROPS cab or frame complies with all international safety standards. It must never be
drilled or modified to install accessories or implements. Welding any item to the cab or
frame or repairing the cab or frame, is not permitted. If any such operation is carried out,
the cab or frame may no longer comply with ROPS standards. The only components
which can be fitted are AGCO original components, which must be fitted by your dealer or
agent.
4.12.16 Replace the air intake filters
WARNING: Hot components.
Risk of death or injury caused by burns.
Before you do work on the machine, stop the engine and remove the ignition key.
Let the temperature of the component decrease until it is the same as the ambient
temperature.
WARNING: Entanglement.
Risk of death or injury from components that you think are stopped.
Make sure that all the components of the machine stop fully before you go near the
machine.
NOTE: Do not start the engine when the air intake filters are removed.
NOTE: If the warning lamp for the air cleaner comes on during operation, remove and clean the primary
filter element. If the warning lamp stays on, replace the primary filter element.
NOTE: You can extend the servicing interval for a short time (for example, until an available time). If you
clean the filter regularly, this will not decrease its performance.
Procedure
1. Open the engine cover.
2. Release the fastener (1). Turn the cover (2)
counterclockwise and remove the cover (2).
