2.3.9 Hydraulic system
Transmission oil is used as hydraulic fluid for the
lift and external connections. Inspect the tractor
before starting the engine and once a day. Check
the tractor and attachment hydraulic system.
Repair or replace any leakage or damaged parts.
Look for evidence allowing you to find a leakage
from the tractor hydraulic system (traces of oil on
the ground or on tractor).
WARNING:
Diesel fuel or hydraulic fluid under
pressure could be injected in your
skin or eyes leading to serious injury,
blindness or even death. Pressurised
liquid/fluid leakage might be not
visible. Search for leaks with a piece
of cardboard or wood. NEVER work
bare handed. Wear safety goggles to
protect your eyes. Any fluid injected
into the skin MUST be surgically
removed within a few hours by a
doctor familiar with this type of
injury.
Never loosen a coupling when circuit is
pressurised. After the engine is stopped, when
hydraulic circuits pressure is released, a residual
pressure could remain -locally- especially before
and after the hydraulic accumulators. Before
working on the hydraulic circuit:
• Set attachments down until they rest on the
ground (Front loader - Front lift - Rear lift).
• Stop the engine.
Allow oil to cool down before working on the
circuit, or oil flow could cause burns and scalds.
Always stop the engine before proceeding with
the maintenance and lubrication operations.

2.3.10 Electric System
Interventions on the electrical system shall be
exclusively performed by qualified sta. In case of
need (for installing any accessory, radio
accessories, etc.), contact your authorised service
centre. Moreover:
• Before attempting any work on the electrical
circuit, always disconnect the battery negative
pole.
• Never replace a faulty fuse with a higher rating
one. Fire hazard.
• Never work on elements like the generator or
fan while engine is running.
• Carry out any welding operations strictly
following the recommendations given.
