Using a front loader
Safety regulations - Lifting tools and suspended loads provides information on the dangers associated with
using a front loader. Read and get to know this information before using the front loader. When installing a
front loader, always refer to the loader manufacturer's operator manual and recommendations in addition to
the information provided in this manual.
Section 6.2
Forestry use
The machine is not equipped for forestry use.
Section 6.3
Using mounted, semi-mounted or towed sprayers
When using an agricultural machine that is equipped with sprayers, beware of the following dangers:
• Risks arising from spraying hazardous substances (the machine may or may not have a cab).
• Risks arising from entering or exiting the cab when spraying hazardous substances.
• Risks related to possible contamination of working environment.
• Risks related to cleaning the cab and servicing the air filters.
The machine may be equipped with a type-approved cab in accordance with EN 15695-1:2009. To find out
the cab category in accordance with EN 15695-1:2009, refer to its identification plate.
For protection against hazardous dust, aerosols and vapours, refer to the instructions provided by the
chemical agent supplier, the sprayer manufacturer and the basic rules contained in this manual. Always use
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and any other special device as advised by the chemical agent
manufacturer, when using the sprayer.
2.3.28 Getting in and out of the machine
WARNING:
Fall hazard! Jumping on or o the machine could cause an injury. Always face the
machine, use the handrails and steps, and get on or o slowly. Maintain a three-point
contact to avoid falling: both hands on the handrails and one foot on the step, or one hand
on the handrail and both feet on the steps. Failure to comply could result in death or
serious injury.
Get on and o the machine only by using the specific accesses equipped with a handrail, steps or ladder.
Do not jump o the machine.
Check that the steps, ladders and platforms remain clean and clear of debris and foreign matter. Slippery
areas can be a cause of accidents.
Never get on or o the machine while in movement.
Do not use the steering wheel or any other controls or accessories as a handrail when getting into or out of
the cab.
2.3.29 Emergency Exit
In an emergency exit the cab through the cab doors. It is also possible to exit the cab through the open
rear window.
