• In order to improve the machine's longitudinal stability when using very long and heavy tools.
Using very long and heavy tools can aect the machine's stability. Valtra advises that you ballast the
machine with blocks of iron.
The counterweights are very heavy. Always use certified lifting equipment to remove and install
counterweights. Ensure that the hardware securing the weights is correctly installed on the machine and
that mounting bolts are fully tightened before operating the machine.
Clear the area around and underneath the counterweight removal and installation system before installing
and removing them. Keep all unauthorized personnelclear of the area. Ensure that the lifting equipment and
cables are in good condition and able to support the weight of the counterweights.
J - Trailer braking systems
Always check compatibility with the towed vehicles or equipment. In addition to the information provided in
this manual, read and follow the instructions provided by the trailer manufacturer.
K - Vertical load on tow-hitch

L - Implements with Power Take-O (PTO) drive shafts
All the PTO versions available for this machine, have been designed byValtra in compliance with the ISO
501-1:2014 standard. The extent of the clear zone can be limited by using mobile or detachable devices.
The clearance zone for towing vehicles must comply with ISO 6489-3 and ISO 5673-2:2005 standards.
M - Maximum permitted tow weights
The plate showing the authorization information for the type of machine shows the maximum permitted
weights relative to the trailer.
N - Area between the machine and the tool or vehicle
Always stay clear of the tool operating area to avoid accidents. In particular, DO NOT stand between the
machine and the towed vehicle or between the three-point hitch when operating the lift controls. Make
sure no bystanders are within or near these operating areas.
O - Factory-installed tools
