If the warning lamp lights up stop immediately and
switch the engine off! Investigate the cause. If the
lamp lights while the engine is running, an acoustic
alarm sounds. In addition the STOP lamp lights and a
warning message is shown on the display.
When driving with the engine at normal temperature,
the needle should stay between 3 and
5.5 bar
(300–
550 kPa). The oil pressure may drop when the engine
is idling. This is not dangerous if the oil pressure
increases again when engine speed increases.
