brake being applied. The warning lamp is lit, the
system limitations are active.
4 Apply the footbrake until it is fully depressed.
5 Keep the footbrake pedal fully depressed for at
least five seconds.
6 Release the footbrake until it is fully raised.
7 The brake pedal must be fully released for at least
five seconds.
Reset test successful, warning lamp goes out:
• No fault detected during braking.
• Fault codes disabled.
• Normal brake function.
Reset test unsuccessful, warning lamp stays lit:
Reset test incorrectly performed.
• Braking in progress for longer than 25 seconds.
• The vehicle moved during the test.
Test correctly performed, but there is still an active
fault in the EBS system.
• Perform the test several more times.
The ignition must be switched on/off in order to
perform a new reset test. See points 1–3 above.
