12.7 REPLACING THE UNIT CONNECTING LINE
Switch the unit o (OFF).
Before all repair work: Unplug the power
plug from the outlet.
1. Dismantle the carriage.
2. Unscrew the device socket for the heating hose drum
from the housing and disconnect.
3. Screw o and remove a housing half (with socket open-
ing).
4. Loosen the cable threaded joint (1).
5. Loosen the wires in the mains terminal.
6. Replace the unit connecting line.
(only an approved power cable with the designation H07-
RNF with a splash-proof plug may be used).
7. Mount the housing half carefully (do not squeeze any ca-
bles!)
8. Connect the socket for the heating hose. Connect the
green/yellow wire to the contact with the earthing sign.
Connect the other two wires to Contact 1 and 2.

12.8 HOW TO REPLACE THE POWER CONNECTION
CABLES IN THE HEATING HOSE DRUM
Switch the unit o.
Before all repair work: Unplug the power
plug from the outlet.
Work or repairs at the electrical equipment
may only be carried out by a skilled electri-
cian. No liability is assumed for incorrect in-
stallation.
1. Dismount the hose reel (1) by loosening the 2 screws (2)
on the carriage (3).
2. Lever the plastic cover (4) o with a screwdriver.
3. Release cable connexion (5).
Disconnect the power cable from the terminal strip (6).
4. Replace power cord (x green-yellow conductor to PE-
marked terminal).
(Only use a licensed power cord with the marking H07-
RNF and with a splash water proof plug)
5. Mount plastic covers carefully.
6. Fix hose reel to the carriage again.
