9.2.7 NONRETURN VALVES
Regularly check the function of the non-return valves.
Pressure relief valve for protecting the feed pump (see Chapter 5.16)
Regularly check the function of the pressure relief valve.
The pressure-relief valve must be cleaned regularly and after each activation:
Flush with solvent.
9.2.8 EMPTYING SYSTEM
1. Visual check: personal safety equipment, grounding and all devices ready to use.
2. Close the pressure regulator of the three pumps (0 MPa; 0 bar; 0 psi).
3. Select "Work" in main menu.
4. Emptying pump A:
4.1. In sub-menu, select component "A"
and press [Start].
4.2. Empty pump A in accordance with pump A's operating manual.
4.3. Close product valve by pressing [Stop].
5. Emptying pump B:
5.1. Select component "B" in sub-menu
B
and press [Start].
5.2. Empty pump B in accordance with pump B's operating manual.
5.3. Close product valve by pressing [Stop].
6. Emptying ushing pump:
6.1. In sub-menu, select ushing valve AS:
and press [Start].
6.2. Empty ushing pump in accordance with ushing pump's operating manual.
6.3. Close product valve by pressing [Stop].
6.4. If there is a separate B ushing valve (controller 2 or 3): Select ushing valve BS
in the sub-menu
and then repeat steps 6.2 to 6.3.
9.2.9 FILLING EMPTY SYSTEM
1. Visual check: personal safety equipment, grounding and all devices ready to use.
2. Close the pressure regulator of the three pumps (0 MPa; 0 bar; 0 psi).
3. Select "Work" in main menu.
4. Filling pump A:
4.1. In sub-menu, select component "A"
and press [Start].
4.2. Fill pump A in accordance with pump A's operating manual.
4.3. Close product valve by pressing [Stop].
5. Filling pump B:
5.1. Select component "B" in sub-menu
and press [Start].
5.2. Fill pump B in accordance with pump B's operating manual.
5.3. Close product valve by pressing [Stop].
6. Filling the ushing pump:
6.1. In sub-menu, select ushing valve AS:
and press [Start].
6.2. Fill ushing pump in accordance with ushing pump's operating manual.
6.3. Close product valve by pressing [Stop].
6.4. If there is a separate B ushing valve: Select ushing valve BS in the sub-menu
and then repeat steps 6.2 to 6.3.
