WAGO I/O System 750/753 (Series 750, 753).

This documentation is part of the complete Instructions for use for the WAGO I/O System
750/753. These products must only be installed and operated according to the instruc-
tions of the complete Instructions for use. Knowledge of the complete Instructions for use
is a precondition for intended use.

1.1 Intended Use
The I/O system is used to receive digital and analog signals from sensors and to control
actuators. Higher-level controllers can be communicated with through fieldbus interfaces.
The signals can be (pre-)processed with the controllers.
The products are open equipment and are designed for installation in an additional enclo-
sure. Protective measures suitable for the specific application area and application must
be implemented.
The products are intended for installation in automation technology systems.
These products fulfill the requirements of protection type IP20 and are designed for
use in dry interior spaces.
Operation of the products in industrial areas is permitted.
The products used fulfill the EMC requirements for large and small commercial and
business areas as well as residential areas when they maintain the required limits for
electromagnetic interference emission (EMC).
