6. Remove the column stabilizer assembly, if fitted.
a. Using the Phillips screwdriver, loosen the two screws that fasten
the column stabilizer assembly to the column compartment tray.
b. Remove the column stabilizer assembly from the thermal gasket.
c. Remove the thermal gasket from the column tray.
7. Remove the active preheater assembly, if fitted.
a. Remove the active preheater assembly from the retainer in the
column compartment.
