Operating instructions – AC SMART
Setting the maximum asymmetrical phase current
You must be logged in as an Admin. Electrician only!
The maximum charging current must be limited (Max current asymmetrical)
for vehicles that do not use all three phases. The maximum asymmetrical
current is dependent on the domestic installation and the locally applicable
specicationsandprovisions.
► Click Cong/General.
► Change the value.
► Click Save.
Adjusting the LED brightness
► Click Cong/General.
► Change the value.
► Click Save.
Conguring LED inactivity
TheLEDinactivityfunctioncanbeusedtoswitchotheLEDstatusindicator
whenever the status of the EV charging box does not change during a
denedtimeperiod,forinstanceduringthechargingprocess.Oncethestatus
of the EV charging box changes, the LED display is active once again and the
timer is reset. The function LED inactivity is activated upon delivery.
► Click Cong/General.
► Activate LED inactivity.
► Change the value.
► Click Save.
Setting up user authentication
EachEVchargingboxcanbeoperatedwithoutuserauthentication(free-
mode).Userauthenticationcanbeconguredinordertopreventunauthor-
iseduseofEVchargingboxes.Thefollowingauthenticationmethodsare
available:
– RFID
– Website, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP and AC SMART App
– Digital input (via external switching device)
– Powerline Communication
The EV charging box is set up as follows as a default:
– ECO:chargingwithoutauthentication(freemodeisactivated)
– VALUEandADVANCED:chargingwithauthentication(freemodeis
deactivated)
► Click Authorisation.
► Activate the desired function (Allowed authorisations).
► If you are using the EV charging box with a backend, assign a Local
authorise tag.
► Click Save.
