6. With the reusable breathing circuit: Guide the CO
2
measuring
tube with the rest of the measuring circuit and ventilation hose
into the protective sleeve of the breathing circuit.
7. If necessary: Activate Capnography option
(see "6.3.9 Options", page 138).
Result The CO
2
measuring tube is connected to the breathing circuit.
4.4.5 Connecting MEDUtrigger
The operational readiness of MEDUtrigger is indicated by 2 green
LEDs on MEDUtrigger. If MEDUtrigger is connected to the device
and the green LEDs on MEDUtrigger are lit, you can trigger
mechanical breaths manually by pressing the MEDUtrigger button.

To minimize the dead space, you can also connect the CO
2
measuring tube to a breathing system filter with gas connection
(e.g., WM 22162).
