Take out the valve.
Clean the valve with a soft cloth and ConvoClean.
Alternatively, the lower part of the valve can be washed in a
dishwasher (after removing the solenoid and upper part of the
valve !).

Press the button in the dehumidifier valve several times.
5.
Reassemble the dehumidifier valve in the reverse order.
Make sure that the seal is clean and intact during reassembly.
