General burner principle
In the Convotherm high-performance burner system, the optimum quantity of gas is drawn through the
gas valve according to the speed of the burner fan on the basis of the Venturi principle.
The fan forces the gas/air mixture into the burner mantle. Here the high-voltage ignition system ignites
the mixture at the ignition electrode. Combustion of the gas/air mixture takes place in the heat ex-
changer between burner mantle and combustion chamber.
