Purpose of this section
This section shows you how you to perform tests on gas appliances.
9.3.6.1 Testing gas appliances before putting the appliance into use
Important information
 These instructions are a supplement to the Installation manual for your appliance and must only be
used in conjunction with that document.
 The tests described below must be performed solely by an authorized customer service engineer.
These tests must be performed after installation and after any servicing work.
Gas-leak test procedure
Follow the steps below to perform the gas-leak test:
1.
Use a leak detector to identify any leaks in gas appliances.
2.
Switch on the combi steamer. Do not start any burners (e.g. by
opening the appliance door).
3.
Test for any gas leaking from gas pipes, connections or covers.
Please note:
Use a gas detector or a leak detector spray for this purpose.
Observe the information included in the leak detector spray's
material safety data sheet.
Danger:
Risk of explosion in case of leaks.
Fire hazard caution:
Do not spray any leak detector spray onto electric or electronic
components. Check that the extraction system is installed cor-
rectly.
