3.3.3 Monitored Items
The pressure is monitored. If the pressure is out of the tolerance, a failure indication
shows.
The sensors are monitored. If the sensors are out of range, a failure indication shows
and the related LEDs will flash on the FCM20 of cylinders 1 and 2 (see 08501
Failures and Defects of WECS Components).

3.4.1 General
The last and last but one FCM20 control the functions of the cylinder lubricating
system. When a control signal is received from an FCM20, each ALM20 operates
its related lubricating pump. The dual circuits of the system bus, CAN bus and power
supply make sure of redundancy.
3.4.2 Emergency Mode
If an FCM20 or bus becomes defective, the other FCM20 or bus makes sure that
control of the cylinder lubricating system continues. A passive failure indication is
shown in the WECS9520 (see also 08501).
