3) Open the ball valves (5 and 3, Fig. 2).
4) Carefully open the shut-off valve (1)
sufficiently to prevent back-flow of
water in the funnel (2).
5) Fill the container (6) through the
funnel (2) with fresh water and the
specified quantity of cleaning fluid
(max. 20 liters) (see paragraph 3.2).
Note: You can also use a hand-held
container filled with cleaning fluid
mixed with fresh water to put into
the funnel (2). When you use this
method, make sure that the
shut-off valve (1) stays closed.
6) Close the shut-off valves (3 and 5).
7) Open the shut-off valve (4) and the ball
valve (7). The water/cleaning fluid
comes out of the nozzles (9) as a spray
into the SAC for approximately one
minute.
8) Move the 3-way ball valve (8) to the
SAC Cleaning Position to drain the
wash-water
9) Close the shut-off valve (4) and the ball
valve (7).
10) Open the shut-off valve (5) until the
container has no pressure.
11) Move the 3-way ball valve (8) to the
Usual Operation position.
12) After 10 minutes, do the procedure
again with only fresh water (no cleaning
fluid).
13) The procedure is completed.
Note: Dirt particles that are loosened
from the cooling fins can collect in
the water separator or the
scavenge air receiver. Do a check
of the cooling fins and clean if
necessary (see the Maintenance
Manual).
