7.1.5 RIGHT / Selection Key
Within menus and submenus the <RIGHT> key lets the operator scroll through the separate menu
items. The currently selected menu item, marked by black background, can be activated with the
<ENTER> key.
Within submenus that require numerical inputs the key is used to scroll between the different digits
or “ESC / OK”. To change the selected digit use the <UP> key. If “ESC” or “OK” is selected press
the <ENTER> key to perform the appropriate action.
7.1.6 UP / Selection Key
Within menus the <UP> key lets the operator leave the currently opened menu or submenu.
Within submenus that require numerical inputs the key is used to change a selected digit. Use the
<RIGHT> key to scroll between the different digits and “ESC” or “OK”. If “ESC” or “OK” is selected
the <UP> key doesn’t have an effect.
7.1.7 ENTER / Termination Key
Within menus the <ENTER> key activates the currently selected menu. Menu items are selected
by the <RIGHT> key. Within submenus that require numerical inputs the key is used to terminate
this menu in case “ESC” or “OK” has been selected before.
7.2 Front Panel Menu
This section gives an overview of the front panel menus. The menus are designed to automatically
guide you through all parameters required to configure a particular function or operation. Please
mind that the instrument may work in three different operation modes. They are:
Normal Mode
Safe mode
Multi Gas Mode (MGM)
The manual usually describes the reactions of the instrument in the normal mode. The safe mode
demands for any action the operator intends to do the entry of the operator’s code. The default op-
erator’s code is “111.000” The MGM provides a list of up to 16 binary gas mixtures to be measured
sequentially. It is described separately at the points where it is of interest.
