7.5.1.4 Multi Gas Mode List
The Multi Gas Mode (MGM) is an operation mode of the instrument where up to 16 gas mixtures
set in the “List for MGM” may be activated to be measured in the operation screen. Gas mixtures
intended to be measured must be set in the state “Is in list”. The stored underlying list of different
measuring and carrier gases depends on the ordered configuration of the MFA 9000 and may con-
tain up to 16 binary gas mixtures.
The MGM mode can be activated/deactivated in the Expert Setting menu in Section 7.5.4.2.
Note!
When the operation screen is shown and the instrument is in the MGM mode pressing -
<RIGHT> activates the gas mixture selection. This is indicated by highlighting of the actual
gas selection, e.g. “H2/N2”. Pressing <ENTER> scrolls to the next gas mixture enlisted in
the “List for MGM”.
7.5.2 The Relays Setup Menu
The relay menus give the user the possibility to set two process alarm relays (Relay 1/2) and one
status alarm relay (Common Relay) regarding the needs of the application. Each relay may be con-
figured as failsafe or not failsafe.
