7.5.1.2 Measuring Gas Setup
In the second line the binary gas to be measured may be altered. The stored underlying list of dif-
ferent measuring and carrier gases depends on the ordered configuration of the MFA 9000 and
may contain up to 16 binary gas mixtures.
Note!
In case a new binary measuring and carrier gas is chosen, the instruments applies the ap-
propriate linearization function (polynomial up to 6
th
order) and the most recently for this
gas determined calibration coefficients for offset and gain to calculate the proper gas con-
centration. Please mind the fact that all relay and output settings are identical for all gases
chosen.
