TRANSMISSION
Check and High Pressure Relief Valve
1. Check the valve plug (1) and valve (3), (4) for scratches and
damage.
2. Check the valve seat in the port block for damage.
3. Check the spring (2) for breakage and wear.
4. If anything unusual, replace the check and high pressure relief
valve assembly.

Charge Relief Valve
1. Check the spring guide (3), spring (2) and valve poppet (1) for
scratches, breakage and damage.
2. If anything unusual. replace.
NOTE■
• When re-installing the charge relief valve, never change the
number of shims.
• If replace with new one, be sure to check and adjust the
setting pressure. (See page 3-S88.)

Servo Piston
1. Check the surface of servo piston for scratches and excessive
wear.
2. If worn or scored, replace the servo piston assembly.
