Paper Jams in the Fuser Unit
1. Lift up the levers on both sides of the fuser
unit.
Important
• The fuser is hot. Do not touch any parts other than the
levers. Otherwise, you can get burnt.
2. Hold the lever E on the left side of the fuser
cover and open the fuser cover. While
holding the cover open, use your other
hand to remove the jammed paper.
3. Place the levers on both sides of the fuser
unit to their original positions.
4. Close the front cover.
Important
• When closing the front cover, be careful not to get your
fingers caught between (the left, right, top, or bottom
edge of) the cover and the printer.
