7.1 Replacing Consumables
Types of Consumables
The following consumables are provided for the printer. To order them, contact the dealer
where you purchased the printer.
Important
• This printer is designed to provide the most stable performance and print quality when used with the
genuine consumables. If you use consumables with specifications different from those of the genuine
consumables, the performance of the printer may not be at its optimum. And if the printer breaks due to
the use of non-genuine consumables, you may incur the repair charges. To receive full support and to
use the printer at its best performance, we recommend you to use only the genuine consumables.
• The page yield of each consumable varies depending on print requests, documents printed, and how
often the power is switched on/off. For more information, refer to "Life of Consumables and Regular
Replacement Parts" (P. 218).
Toner Cartridges
The printer has toner cartridges of four colors; black (K), yellow (Y), magenta (M), and cyan
(C). For information on when and how to replace the toner cartridges, refer to "Life of
Consumables and Regular Replacement Parts" (P. 218) and "Replacing the Toner
Cartridges" (P. 164).
